Last updated: 24 April 2026. This policy explains what information SocialFreeGambling collects, how we use it, and the controls available to you. It applies to every visitor to socialfreegambling.com and to anyone using our browser-based social games.

1. Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to operate a social-play community: a display name, an email address when you contact support or register, basic device and browser metadata used for load diagnostics, and anonymous gameplay telemetry that helps us balance titles and detect abuse.

2. How we use information

Collected data powers account sign-in, daily virtual-credit refreshes, leaderboards, community moderation, and reply threads in support. Aggregated statistics also help us decide which titles stay in the library and which are retired.

3. Sharing

We never sell contact details. Data is shared only with vetted processors (hosting, email delivery, analytics) under written data-processing agreements, or when required by Canadian law.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies for authentication and age confirmation, preference cookies for language and theme, and a small set of aggregated analytics cookies. The cookie banner lets you decline optional categories.

5. Data retention

Account data is kept while the account is active and for 18 months after closure so that safety flags can still be reviewed. Support transcripts are retained for 24 months.

6. Your rights

Under applicable Canadian privacy legislation you may request access, correction, deletion, withdraw marketing consent, or file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Email [email protected] to exercise any of these rights.

7. Children

SocialFreeGambling is restricted to adults aged 18 and older. If we learn a minor has opened an account we close it immediately and purge associated data.

8. International transfers

Our primary infrastructure is hosted in Canadian data centres. A small set of service providers operates globally; transfers to them are protected by standard contractual clauses.

9. Changes

If this policy materially changes, we publish an update at least 30 days before it takes effect and notify registered members by email.
